My brew is still fermenting after 13 days and I am wondering if it will ever stop.

I have checked the SG and it is 1019, the temperature is a constant 21 degrees. Have I done something wrong?

Don't panic Mr Mannering..... :thumb:

All's well..I've just bottled a brew that's been in the 2nd FV for 4 weeks.
Keep a eye on your hydro...when it's the same reading for about 2/3 days that's the time to think about bottling.

my last few brews took over 14 days each. i think it was because of the very low temperatures weve been having-i dont use a heater belt.

my new brew, a tom caxton, is bubbling away like crazy. slighty warmer weather and better yeast. im hoping itll ferment in less than 10 days

1019 seems high after that long. Maybe you have a stuck ferment try using a sterelised long handled plastic spoon(not wood) and give it a stir up to get things going again what make is the kit? I know woodfordes are known for sticking around that mark.
Hope this helps

Many thanks

It is a Woodford's kit "Nelson,s Revenge". I will give it a good stir and let you know how I get on

The stir seems to have moved things along quite a bit thanks and we are now at 1016 although things have slowed again. If smell is anything to go by then it will be fantastic.
