So Tony shared a few bottles around at the Spring Thing, and I have kept mine down the cellar until this topic aroused my curiosity to find out just how bloody orgasmic this stuff is.

 Sorry Tony, flat as a pancake, wife got liquorice and I got badly burnt coffee grounds, she didn't want a second sip and I certainly can't face a third.

That was revolting, the rest is going down the sink, I hope I just got a duff one, I am so disappointed I think I'd like to cry.

  I'm certainly hopeful it was a bad one . . . I have one ready to crack open now and will report back

Ok so not a massive amount of condition, but enough to give it a degree of life.

Getting fruit cake and raisins on the nose, plus alcohol

Taste wise

Liquorice, Peppery spiciness, Couverture and bitter chocolate, leather and tobacco, long sweet finish . . . . . .

Yep that's a good one

Can only think either you have a bad bottle, or it's not a style you particularly like . . . Still a valid opinion :thumb:

I'm sorry, I really am so phuckin' sorry, have you seen that Harry Potter film where Harry has to force Dumbledore on to drink some potion, and it's hurting him but he has to go on?

Well that's how I felt.

From what everyone else has said I can only assume that I got the duff bottle.

Reading this is making me want to go AG, but, I will be patient and wait until I have the space and knowledge.
