Head retention Good Not fantastic but good stayed almost to the bottom
Aroma Very complex Chocolate,leather (reminded me of a pair of brogues i used to own),faint coffee, and Virginia tobbaco, (reminisent smells of a gentlemens club)
Smooth to start. . . . then complex flavours coat the inside of your mouth, bitter chocolate, faint tobacco,coffee grounds (pleasant not unpleasant), couldn't put my finger on exactly on other the flavours but they are definitly there, mouthfeel is long and lingering.
Hops barely appear on the show
Nice amount of body about right for style, not at all cloying.
If you want me to double check don't hesitate to send more, I could :drink: a few of these happily.
In fact I may just need to get 5 gallons on very soon for my own private stock! :drink:
