There is or was somebody around that area selling them in boxes of 40 bottles, I assumed from a pub by the numbers listed each week. I think they were charging 5-10quid for 40 unwashed bottles.

£30 seems a bit steep for some old scratty bottles. I know new ones from the HBS are quite expensive but ive never had the need to buy any.
