Depends on the effect you're trying to get. I've dry hopped with 100g in a 14l batch before and the aroma was amazing. Next brew will have 300g in a 20l batch (you guessed right, it's a DIY Dog recipe) which I expect will be intense to say the least. I'd probably go with 50-75g this time and then tweak the recipe depending on how it comes out.
 
I did a 5 litre brew with 8 gms as a dry hop but with a challenger bittering hop and chinook additions in the boil.Came out ok and well recieved by those who have been given a bottle. Certainly not Brew Dog quantities though.
