Dry Hopping

Hi,

I was just wondering if it is ok to dry-hop with Hallertau in the primary FV for a week when the initial mad-fermenting has died down ?

Also, can you put the hops in loose, as I don't have any muslin bags...

Yes and yes. But you'll struggle to reuse the Hoppy yeast afterwards.

Cheers for that - re-using the yeast won't be an issue, as I don't often do that.

i find the yeast is fine if filtered through a bit of boiled stocking and funnel when the hops are loose
