I'm new to this home brew lark.
I would love to try 'dry hopping' to improve my extract kit brews.
I recently tried a John Bull IPA kit. It turned out really nice but not really like IPA I have tried commercially. I was expecting a difference, the main one being a distinct lack of that citrus, hoppy finish. Could I get that by dry hopping?
Also, which would be best to use, Fuggles, Goldings? Or some other types?
Thanks in advance.

If you want the citrus aroma I would say you need one of the american 'C' hops citra, cascade and chinnock all of those ar strong on citrus aroma and taste.

Dry hopping is easy just place the hops in a sterilised hop sock and sit in the beer after initial fermentation. If you do it at the start the active co2 production can effectively 'boil' away the volatile aromas just like boiling them wood.
