Saw a thread the other day with someone commenting on finishing hop combinations complementing one another .hoppyland posting he likes citra and mosaic which got me wondering
Most of us are aware of what a single hop will be like but I would be interested to know what combinations as a pair work well together.
I have dry hopped a few times with cascade and lemongrass and yup I know lemongrass isn't a hop but together in 20 gram amounts it gave me one of the best kits I have ever pimped up( wilkos hoppy copper) and the beer came out like sadlers JPA.about to do the same again today now the fermentation has died down,so over to the forum what combinations do you like/ reccomend

Although they get called aroma hops they have a huge impact on flavour as well, the 100g hops which come with the American IPA kit transform the taste

Sorry Godsdog i didnt give you a proper answer.
I have mixed Cascade and Amarillo, twas no bad
I have mixed Saaz with Falconers Flight (even though i think this has the seven 'c' hops in it) to a lager.
And i am in the process of mixing 50g of Mosaic with 20g of Sorachi Ace to a pilsner.
All of the above pairings are probably completely wrong of course, but to my untrained palate, they are masterpieces 😉

I love galaxy & amarillo :-)

I don't love the price tag :-(

I normally use 100g of each

and 50g of something orangy/citrussy/grapfruity for bittering.

YUM
