Dropped can into fementer - will the beer be ok?

Hi All,

I've just started brewing again after a few years away, anyhow, brewing a batch of great eastern and whilst cleaning out the cans with boiling water dropped one into the fermenting bucket. I had placed both can in boiling water but only half way. Will it be ok or should I chuck the lot?

as a kit doesnt get boiled to sterilise things dont know really just hope all the nasties were killed off when you put can in boiling water :thumb:

Ah ok will I will leave it and see, how will I know if its not any good?

You will know if there is green stuff crawling out the fermentor :lol:


Leave it and let it run it's coarse. All you will have wasted if it does go bad will be a little time.
