Dremel/project box

Just wondering what people use when cutting their project box when making a temp controller? Also what size cable glands would I need for 1.5mm flex?

Dremel with cut off disc (for plastic or metal dependant on what your box is made of) but drilled four holes one at each corner first. With plastic you have to take it carefully as it melts as you are cutting it.
For holes I use arrange of drill bits depending what type I have available for the size of hole (normal bits up to forstner bits) or a Qmax cutter if I have the right size.
Regarding cable glands they should say what size cable (OD) they are suitable for.

I was thinking of using a metal cutting bit on a slow setting ot just drill the holes n use a hacksaw I've found the glands now so hopefully all will go well when I put it all together

That should work fine.
Just finished my first attempt. Could get away with a smaller box next time.

If its 1.5 3 core then a 20th skin top gland will do fine.
