It makes the generalisation that all beer in clear bottles is bad which is not true. Commercial beer served in glass bottles will have been made using Tetrahops and they don't Skunk :lol: :lol:

Yep, that's what I do - getting rid of bottles just 'cos they're clear seems wrong :)

Posted this mainly because I've read lots of science, pseudo-science, and downright claptrap about brewing, but I don't remember seeing anything about the processes behind skunking.
 
Clear bottles are fine as long as you keep them in the dark. I had loads when I started about 200 now keep them for cider :D :D
