The main difference is:
ITC-308 can control a heater & cooler, one temperature range.

Bought. Reading the thread on what biggest improvement to brewing has been loads said fermentation fridge and control. Looking forward to seeing the results of this as finding it difficult to maintain a temp.

I've got one of each.:thumb:I use the ITC-306 all year round on Brew Fridge No.1 (which still has a cooling capacity) and the ITC-308 (won on a Forum Raffle) on Brew Fridge No.2 (which can only heat).

When I look back to my very early days I could weep with joy!

To go from a situation where the only warm place in my house was the airing cupboard, to a situation where I have two dedicated Brew Fridges (temperature controlled to within 0.2*C) is a dream come true!

I can't praise these bits of kit high enough!

Your wife's airing cupboard is NOT the place to ferment a very active brew, unless you really want to know how to use a washing machine and an iron!:wave:
