As a relatively new extract brewer (Ive done 7 extracts, 4 different recipes) I am constantly on the search for new recipes that I think I can brew but I have a special request for recipes on this occasion.
This year it was my 30th birthday but sadly I was in hospital recovering from a major operation, and needing 3 months to recover from that I never really got the chance to celebrate.
My wife has suggested that for my 31st in a few months time we throw a little beer festival at my house with a range of homebrews, and maybe a couple of locally bought beers. We will also use this as a chance to raise some money for a charity that helped me out when I was struggling this year.
So my request is would you like to donate a recipe that I can brew?
I am looking to brew 4/5 myself and am currently find my brews easier if I am doing a 20-25 litres brew, if I can use cans of extract and adding spraymalt if needed, of course am comfortable with adding hops and steeping.
I am hoping to do the following type of beers:
- a pretty weak beer
- something strong but nice
- a beer thats a bit different (I notice the new threads on adding honey, peaches, maybe golden syrup, etc)
- a nice traditional golden ale
- Maybe a mild
If you can offer me a recipe I would be massively greatly!
Thanks.
