Doesn't appear to be fermenting!

I completed AG#3 and pitched my yeast into it over 48hours ago now and there is just no sign of any activity - no krausen and no airlock activity.

It's a Southern Brown Ale with OG 1038 and the yeast is a Wyeast SmackPack 1099 Whitbread. He pack swelled slightly but not loads and I pitched at about 19degrees ish.

Anyone have any ideas? Has anyone used this yeast before and if so, how did you find it?

Panic over - I got in last night and it was going like the clappers. Took it 56 hours to show any signs though!!!

On a different note, it seems awfully quiet on here at he minute - have loads jumped ship?
