Hi

This cider kit has been fermenting for 15 days now and there is roughly 1 bubble every few minutes. I am going to learn to use a hydrometer because I know that's the only way to really tell. However with all your great experience does this look OK to bottle? Or should I wait until all the bubbles have gone?

Thanks [emoji2] View attachment uploadfromtaptalk1446311611938.jpg

If its bubbling no!

OK thanks I'll wait a few more days then!

Chris the best way til you get your head around using a hydrometer is give it another week, look up hydrometers on here theres a thread somewhere explaining i think, sorry have not got time to search, but be patient and avoid taking the fv top off as you may get a infection in your cider

I'm not going to bottle...i bottled my lager at this same stage and it's flat as anything when I pour one out.. Could that be from bottling early?

One more worry, I have opened lid up about 4 times now in the 2 weeks, is this likely to have contaminated it? When I smelt it the smell was that strong it hurt my nose lol
