Thats funny, I was just researching for an interview I have tomorrow and wandered on here and found this link. I'm feeling confident about my abilities to do the job, but the prep has been a litany of disaster. For a good 3wks I had bronchitis and 2 different courses of antib's, I've had to submit a proposal for my MSc which was a fully referenced 2500 word essay. Then I thought I'd prepare for this interview and realised on Wed night that I should have contacted them by Wed confirming my attendance (slaps head). Then I've had 3 12hr shifts this week, so yesterday I started with my protfolio and realised some important paperwork is in Yorkshire (slaps head). I just hope I can sweet talk my way through this poor prep and show them the potential I have!!

Not good! I knew as soon as it finished, if not before. Of course I'm a bit gutted, it would have been a good job, its the career path I want to go down but I am a little inexperienced, and as I said the prep was poor. On the plus side it was good experience for the next time I go for a post similar. And I did have Tuesday off as well so I got the excuse to join Monday club for a couple. Onwards and upwards as they say.

Sorry to hear that Bob but as you say you will know what to expect next time and stand a better chance.
Mine was on Wed, went pretty well but they are interviewing like mad. the woman said there were 2 more yesterday and i was the third of that day.
Didnt really go through much job stuff just more what my CV looked like. There is alsorts of stuff in my past so it was nice to have the oppertunity to explain it. I have been a teacher, microbiologist, clean lab technician, and now Finance IT geek.
i did do alot of prep but getting in there the woman told me how out of date the website was and spent 30 min talking to me not the other way round!
