Do you scrape off the pre-boil foam?

I've got one of those. A great tool! I do the same thing with dhal.

Just spent some time properly skimming the wort as it came to boil. First time I haven't had a boil over / near boil over in ages. Will definitely do it from now on

I Always skim pre boil and during boil.
Was told it leads a hand to beer clarity and haven't had cause to doubt this advice.

I just keep whacking it with the paddle, I’ve skimmed once or twice but decided in the end it wasn’t for me.
