I think we all need to see pictures of what us folk look like...

Seriously, just look at my avatar sans lightbulb!
Or as my delightful eldest daughter says " Harry Hill meets Al Murray "
I wander which ones best, Harry hill or al Murray, there's only one way to find out.

Chuck them both off the top of a multi-story car park and see who hits the ground first...?

I don't have a beard, so nope lol
I work in an office and wear a suit (don't think that fits the stereotype).
However, I use a badger brush and a double edge razor to shave (suppose there's some stereotypical points there). I tend to forage.
I do have a belly on the way but that's because I'm sat down all the time. I've signed up for the Cardiff Half Marathon so that should get rid of it.

Beard : No, but a bit of a lazy shaver at weekends.
Sandals : No, never.
Cardi : No although, outside work, tend to dress for comfort over style.
Music : Generally guitar bands of one sort or another but no folk.
Belly : Not yet, touch wood.

So I think I'm outside the stereotype.

Yes, bearded for past 35 odd years. My wife and kids have never seen me without one!!
Sandals yes all the time must be Burkenstock.
Cardy's - nope never use them
Folk music yes on occasion - much prefer country blues, Leadbelly and older.
Beer belly - used to have one but now manage the flab by cycling and generally being active.
Also trying to be a bit of a Linux Geek on a down with Windoze basis, certainly Linux works for my needs.

Beard: Part time from October to April.
Sandals: No way 5:10's bro!
Folk Music: I like some of it, but then I like most music to a point..
Beer belly: 200-300 miles a week (weather dependant) on my hybrid and mountain bike keeps that down for the moment.
Smoke: See above.. Need my lungs in full working order... Although I have been known to smoke a Cuban cigar on special occasions..ok once
Cardigan: No, but been looking at them in M&S but I just cant bring myself to buy one yet.

:hmm: So I think I'm half way there to being a stereo type.. and I've only been home brewing since November 2012..

Errr, smooth faced.

I use one of these most of the time.
330e9n6.jpg

Its another hobby of mine to collect and restore them.
Honing them (sharpening) is an art in itself and I also collect the stones to do that.

Beard-no. Couldn't grow one if I tried.
Sandals-yes,but NEVER with socks
Chunky knit sweater-yes
Smoker of rollies
Despise modern R&B,rap & dance. Anything else is fine as long as it is varied
Grade 1 back & sides
I am an analogue guy in a digital world descended from Luddites. If your smartphone can't work when inserted rectally don't use it near me. Ironically training for a job in IT-go figure.
Will forage,will hunt.
I am not a stereotype I am an individual,an awesome one at that (as we all are)

No beard for me, I couldn't grow o if I tried

I sit on a train & in an office for 14 hours and and study after I have put the kids to bed, giving me a beer gut

If I wear a Wychwood Hobgoblin T shirt, my daughters point at the picture and fall about laughing, asking where I got my picture printed on a T shirt.

Beard - No
Sandals - Never, Never, Never, Never! maybe the occasional flip flop but mostly converse all starts or Vans
Music - Mostly Metal/indie or Rock but i have been to the odd fairport conventions and Richard Thompson gig.
Belly - A little but working on it...
Smoking - not any longer

I do keep bees and have an allotment , bake cakes, keep chickens, make sausages

Beardish....cant grow a good one, dont think i fit the stereotype really, im 22 and very into health and fitness. I got into homebrewing because i enjoy cooking and like to know what goes into my food and wanted to do the same with my beer.

Well done to all the sensible, strong-will-powered blokes here who have quit smoking :hat:

About 10 years ago I quit for 2 years, then started again. A while after that I quit for three more years and still fell back off the *** wagon. Never leaves you, does it?!

Beard - Yup
Sandals - Not really unless on holiday?
Music - A fair mix - from Daft Punk, Metallica, Led Zeppelin, Florence and the Machine, DJ Shadow, ...
Belly - Thankfully no, not yet
Smoking - I'm a "social smoker", I like a cheeky rollie every now and then

I do love cooking, eating and baking - also hill walking, video games (less so now) and mountain biking.

This is sounding more like a dating forum now! (And I started it...)
