Hi, completed my 5th AG brew yesterday, in my Brewzilla. A simple Mosaic single hop with MO and 200g carapils.
Using my smaller pressure FV for the first time, and pitched US04 about 7pm last night. Left the spunding valve open overnight to avoid over pressuring the FV, and this is what I found this morning... I'm used to hi krausen occurring, but usually above the surface, not sinking beneath it...
Do you sages think that I've got a problem/infection? All my previous AG's have turned out lovely, it'll be a shame if this is spoiled!
Sorry for the long post...

does look strange although my fermenters are stainless so I never know how much is under the surface, how clear did the wort run into the fermenter? I have used S-04 a couple of times and was never really happy with the finished beer, for clean fermentation I much rather s-05. It is quite quick for it to be an infection I would let it go see in a week how it looks and sample it if its an infection you will taste it
