Do u clean your wort chiller

I notice the copper wort chiller looks rough after 2brews I know it gets sterile after boil but do people scrub it

After chilling the wort mine goes in the sink and gets a good scrub with a pan scourer and hot water then gets chucked in the shed.

I catch some of the hot water from the start of the chill in a bucket and add some sodium percarbonate. A good dunk and rub with a clean cloth, rinse and put away.

Same as Clint for me. Sometimes it gets a wipe down in hot water rather than a good scrub.

A good wipe down to get rid of any hop matter, quick rinse....job done.

I have a SS one, just a rinse down is usually sufficient

Same here mine is ss so a quick wash and wipe job done

Rinse well with hot water. Nothing grows on copper so it doesn't have to be perfectly clean.

I'll scrub my wort chiller only really when I replace the braided tubing, which is every few years. Other than that, a good rinse after use will do.
