It's 4 months to the day when I made my first AG, today I'm doing my 13th ( ), it's a pale ale lightly hopped with centennial and cascade.
4 months ago I mainly drank "continental" lager, Today I'm reading a recipe thinking "9 grammes of hops, that can't be right" and resisting the urge to throw in the whole pack over 5 minute intervals at the end of the boil.
Is this normal?

No idea, I don't brew as often as I used to :hmm:

Haha! That's what happens when you brew your own I guess - you get a taste for what you really like and you're hopefully able to brew it.

I just tasted a sample of a 1039 blonde ale I've got fermenting - it's probably 40% attenuated and I'm thinking..."I really like how this tastes - I wonder if I can brew something that tastes kind of like this but at full strength". Weird huh?
