Have had a few bits of timber lying around the back garden with promises to the missus that was going to do something with it.
I had a telegraph pole cut in sections, half size railway sleepers, fence posts, fence boards and some D-rail fencing so through them altogether and got a table and chairs.

Funny what you can do with odds and sods.

My Prima Donna hops are finally growing this year.

A nice pint of HB to finish the day and christen the table after a hard days graft...n

I bet it lasts a lot longer than the usual rubbish sold in many places. :thumb:

I fell pray to the cheap bbq from argos and wickes they lasted 2 years each. Then I bought a weber (10 year guarantee) still going strong 6 years later.

That's pretty cool. I think I would round off the seat edges, too, for comfort.

And, you can tell us, did you knock that Telegraph pole down?

My garden furniture consists of a busted washing machine, a rotted Vauxhall Chevette that saw it's last MOT about 1981, and a few upturned beer crates for sitting on.

Gunge be careful advertising such retro gear there's the odd hipster lurking round the forum who might try to buy the lot off you for a few grand ..

Actually the telegraph pole was given to me by a friend from work who has sadly passed since as he was a hoarder and new I would do something with it.
