Living on one of the north isles I ofter get hit with the 'delivery to UK mainland only' Bit of a shame cos Royal Mail works fine here but if it was easy living here everyone would do it :D

So, ordered some supplies that the local shop doesn't carry and really just wanted to experiment.

The order went to 'The Home Brew Shop' at www.the-home-brew-shop.co.uk

Guess what, no email saying they will have to hit me with a surcharge or that they can not deliver :thumb:

So I've found me a place to order yeast and other lesser available stuff, happy me :D

sounds more useful than brew uk i phoned em this morning half expecting my 4 x 60L FV to turn up but they have not even sent them yet, they said packaging issues but cummmoooon does a home brew shop not think one day someone will maybe want a plastic bucket from them? or am I in the dark ages and everyone have ss conical fermenters now

once again the home brew shop does it's self proud.
Ordered about 8kg of grain and hops and it was waiting in the garage within 3 days.
First class service from Hampshire all the way to Orkney :thumb:

I can only agree with the original post, I think they are the only company that do "real" free delivery. If your postcode doesn't fit then it can add rather alot to your order.

Will try and drop in and see them at the end of the month as I'll be in Bagshot, looks a cracking shop......must drag Mrs Mc around it, purely for revenge for wasted Saturdays at the Trafford centre
