I was making my wheat beer last night but started it quite late. By the time i have put it in the FV the temp was far too hight to add the yeast.

After waiting a while i fell asleep and ended up in bed and only relised this morning i had not added the yeast.

So sterilised a big spoon mixed up the contents and added yeast.

Can any one advise if this will cause issues or am i just worrying about nothing.

This is fine. Wort is wort, and as long as a lid was on it and nothing nasty got in, it doesn't matter.

ALSO - as long as your spoon was sterile and you stirred it adequately hard to get all that lovely oxygen into it, then the yeast will be happy. The advantage of pitching straight away is that the process of dissolving the sugars and adding all the water agitates it very hard and gets your oxygen in there with no real effort (as demonstrated by all the froth on top of a newly made wort).

Excellent, Lid was on and spoon was sterilised.

Mixed it up good and added the yeast then gave it another mix up a few minutes later.

Should be alright. If this happens again, just make sure that you put it somewhere warm. Making a kit from fresh gives you a nice warm wort, as you have used some boiling water in there at the start. Overnight yours will have dropped to the ambient temperature of your house. You want your wort somewhere between 20C - 22C to get the yeast going. Sometimes, they don't start properly if they are under this, or even as low as 18C.

Hope it all works out well!

Cheers guy's, it was sitting bang on 22c when i pitched the yeast so hopefully i will go home to see some action.
