This is just a small review for Imperial L17 Harvest liquid yeast.

I brew Helles Lager, a clone of Augustiner Helles (will see later how well I managed to clone it).
Did starter with 1,5L wort, pitched at 16C and fermented around 14C for 12 days - last 2 days was diacetyl rest rest at 19C.
Yeast performed really well, from 1.049 to 1.011 (estimated was 1.014), beer already taste nice, without carbonation and laggering, so only can improve.
Today kegged - first ever keg beer, set for 12 PSI and will try to forget about it for at least 4 weeks - but will be drank at house party in 8 weeks.

Harvested some from the bottom for next time I do lager.

Highly recommended

Using my first imperial yeast this weekend, the pub strain. If the starter is anything to go by this yeast is a beast.

I need to get my hands on some imperial stuff. Got some Wyeast snack packs to use over the next few months first
