You are on deathrow and you can select your final sandwich to eat. What are you having?

For me, I'd go for a standard cheese sandwich on white bread with proper butter. Boring I know!

Having eaten more butties than you could shake a wobbly stick at I'm off them at the moment for work...
But...I like ham salad..with everything on...tomato,lettuce,onion, beetroot, egg, cheese and Heinz salad cream... NOT mayonnaise.

Alright lol,

So it’s not actually a sandwich, it’s a pitta, but we make these every now and then and as far as I am concerned they are the cats pyjamas lol.

So, it’s like a large pitta toasted, butter on both insides, then a generous layer of sriracha mayonnaise inside (mix your own so it’s got a good twang, not a jar bought one).

Then also inside it’s got about 1.5 good quality sausages cooked and split length ways laid in it, alternating with slices of fried halloumi. Then on top of that is a layer of roasted vegetables, mainly sweet potato but with some roasted red onion, red pepper and a small amount of courgette. Obviously you’ve roasted them in a bit of flavour, I recommend a **** load of garlic and olive oil. And they’ve got to be fairly small pieces or they won’t fit innit. Close the lid on that beauty if you can, you’ll probably need a knife and fork to eat it.

That’s like one of my top ten meals right now lol. It’s bloody lovely.

White bread and butter( proper butter) with two chilli sausages cut length ways. Cheese, Colman's mustard and BBQ sauce.

That's the boys

Potted beef on Blackpool milk roll; or, Southport shrimps in white bread, proper butter; or corn beef and tomato; or left over rib of beef with horseradish on doorstep. Too many to choose from

Lol bear in mind the quantity of every ingredient is quite low - it’s got to all fit in a pitta. It works best if you’re cooking one for you, one for some one else, and then 2 more so you can both have lunch the next day.
