daughters 2nd birthday BBQ!

So my little one is 2 on Sunday, this means on Saturday night I will be throwing a BBQ for the family



that lot should get us started (lots of hard work there)

this bad boy

is going on the BBQ at about 9am tomorrow, the family arrive at 6pm (its a rolled spare rib of pork if anyone cares)

this is how he looked after I put my rub onto it


luckily I had an old spice bottle to put all the blend into as I made far to much!
theres also going to be chicken, burgers, sausages, the usual leafy stuff and pasta... really looking forward to the left over sandwich on sunday LOL!

Second load of coals on, for next time I need to invest in a pair of heat proof gloves and a wireless BBQ probe but its already looking good.

I am on a late shift, sitting in the office, clearing paperwork and generally hating the fact that it is sunny outside.

I have avoided working weekends on a number of occasions recently and the one weekend that I don't avoid... is the hottest of the year. So whilst I wish you the greatest success with your BBQ and the associated libations, it is through seriously gritted teeth...
