Hi All

In my haste to complete HLT build, managed to cut the hole for the Heater Element in side of Chutney Boiler too big so Silicon Seal not seating snug. (hole is about 40mm instead of 38mm)

If there anyway of saving the Barrel either by patching the hole completely or by still using the hole already cut somehow?

Will be a bit of a bodge but I'd suggest trying to make or obtain rubber and plastic washers ID 38mm OD about 44mm. using the part of the kettle it came from cut up is one way, I used mine anyway as a spacer on my s steel HLT.
