Curacao substitute....

Hi,

Im planning on making a Wheat beer next with coriander & curacao in it.

I have pretty much a full bottle of triple sec hanging around.... would it alter the taste much to put some triple sec in instead of the curacao?

Shouldn't be too much of i difference?...

you want bitter orange peel , so to get that you could bake normal orange peel for around 15/20 mins

I thought they were different type of oranges?

they are , bitter ones and hard to get hold of , so you can get a sort of bitter orange by baking em . btw rob at the malt miller sells em .

I always find witbiers made with fresh orange peel more appealing to me. You'd need 8-15 oranges for 23 ltr.
