Hello all,

Last night I racked a Cherry, Cranberry, RGJ WOW style on to 5 Crushed CT and 5tsp of Wilko wine stabilser.

Then I read the ingredients CTs = Sodium Metabisulfite, Methylcellulose, Stearic Acid.
Stabiliser = Sodium Metabisulphite, Potassium Sorbate.

Should I have only put in the stabiliser as it contains sod met aswell,

Have I ruined my brew - it tasted nice pre-rack, only time will tell

:)

It'll be OK. You can have too little sod met (which would leave you able to taste the sorbate), but too much just takes a bit longer to convert to SO2 and disperse.
