Crystal Hops (cinnamon allergy)

I was looking at the characteristics of crystal hops, and it says its got flavours or aromas of cinnamon. My mums allergic to cinnamon, even within scented candles, and i was wondering if this would be an issue?

Has anyone else with a cinnamon allergy used crystal hops? And do these hops contain the same compounds as cinnamon? Im unsure, and can't find anything on google about it.

I'd say find an alternative. But...I don't suppose hops are related to the cinnamon tree.
