Hi i have tryed brewing about 8 different lagers every one tastes amazing and i have used light malt
BUT all of them appear to be a pale ale any advice on how to brew a light golden beer

If you want it to be crisp & dry, a pinch of chocolate malt is the option. Another is to add caramel colorant e150, but I guess you don't want to go this way. ;)

also i think only 45 mins boil is needed for extract and longer boiling can darken it (i may be wrong here , but i think i've read that somewhere)

longer boil will darken it due to the Maillard reaction. Also copper piping helps facilitate it I think. :thumb:
