Seeing as though I have never used one, I am wondering what is the best Courier to use. I need to transport an item from the Midlands down to Cornwall. I don't want to pay too much so any advice appreciated.

Cheers Neil

How big is the said Item?
Also does it tick as most companies tend to blow things up that tick.
Is it alive?
That'll help decide who's better.

Sorry for the lack of info MD.

The item is the 100 litre pan with tap which The Mumbler advertised on this forum. It cost me £66 and I guess I was competing for it against another forum member ;). A little expensive but will be worth it in the long run.

edit: 48cm high 54cm diameter

DHL are the guy's I use to ship my tuns and stuff around, and I use http://www.parcel2go.com select the 2 day service and 99% of the time it'll turn up next day for around £6.99 + vat. you can insure for extra but standard will cover £50

You could ask on here or other forums you use. someone maybe going that way?
and for a few beer tokens you get your items.
Sorry no I'm not goimg that way at the mo.

I use www.payperparcel.co.uk for dhl. Which is about the same as parcel2go. For reference anyone sending anything realy big weight and volume TNT are cheaper from I think interparcel.co.uk, I will check that tommorow when I am in work.

Cheers

Thanks for all the advice guys :thumb: .

The only little problem that I have now is that the future boiler can only be picked up on Friday morning. This is goin to be a real PITA because the carriers I have looked at don't give you a certain time slot, but will only pick up between 8 and five.

Just wondering if anybody lives in Nuneaton and could do me a HUGE favour by picking it up and then I could send a company to pick it up from their home address  .

Hope to hear from anybody in Nuneaton really soon

Cheers Neil
