I will blame it on being a snoozing Newbe.
 
The elder and blackberry is comming along well. The Hedgerow port is, 'OMG thats good!' and the wine I made from the port pulp is probably the best free fruit wine I have ever made.

The all seem to be maturing quicker than usual and I think that is due to there being more plump juicy berries last year. So we got more juice and less skin in every pound.
 
Impossible to tell - what's a blip and what's a trend? We'll only know many decades down the line.
 
More useful to look back, particularly at at wine vintages and climate creep. Southern England now has the climate that southwest France had 50 years ago, I am told. Does this mean we can produce cabernet sauvignon? I can confirm that this is true. Reports suggest that this year will be a record hot summer. I've had 3 comfortable barbeques already and my grapevines buds are bursting well ahead of schedule.
 
Half Penny Green vineyard is based in Shropshire and they are turning out some exceptionally good wines. I think I am correct in saying they were awarded a gold award at an international wine show recently.
They did a wine called Black Country Gold which was superb, whilst I am not sure if they still make it.
I doubt if they could of done these some years ago, but climate must have had a large effect for them, for the better.
