Counterflow Chiller - how long to make it?

I have two because one of the holes is for fluid out and the other is for a thermometer gauge. I'll post again when it's done

I hope this works. But I fancy another go with a bigger one. 12mm ID copper and 25mm id water hose. See what that does

Sure! why not... It could potentially give you a faster throughput, but I think that for double the inner diameter you'd have to make it four times as long to get the same cooling effect.

I'd put in a turbulence spiral in the bigger one to help. It will be a voyage of discovery! I just like inventing and making stuff to be fair. It's the fun of building it let alone if it works!!

I’m taking the plunge soon after reading this thread and messaging @The-Engineer-That-Brews for inspiration
