Hi,

I'am planning on bottling my first batch of ale and want to invest in a quality counter top capper. Can anyone recommend a robust one that won't fall apart?

Cheers

I have one of these from one of our sponsors, does what it says on the tin.
I have this one too (but bought from a LHBS). Works well.

Only if you have a drill stand, bits of metal, and the time and skill to make it. Plus some wood, an inner sole and a Dremel!

another vote for the one in post #2. £28 is relatively inexpensive for the benefits of such a device.
