IMO, the beer I get from the corny is great because I can get it drinkable quickly and it always has a great mouthfeel however, having just popped a bottle of the same brew which a week or so ago was behind the corny quality, I have to hand it to the bottle on this one now. The hop flavour and aroma is so much better.

Just wondered is anyone else have a preferrence and why?

I usually do a 25ltr length, so its corny and bottles for each brew.
Wont pretend to know the chemistry, but the bottle has better body, mouthfeel and overall taste after about a month or so.

Cornies are great, easy and simple to carbonate with a little tried and tested experimenting, but a bottle primed with a bit of sugar goes over the gums a bit easier.

10-Rog on both posts....
I aiming this year to keg supping ale..for BBQ and when friends come around....but then do 2gall mini-mash on a couple of recipes I've come up with but bottle these. :thumb:

I always bottle because I don't have a corny   also as I am a secret brewer SHMBO would be a bit supicious if I set up a bar in the garage

Joking aside I like the taste of bottle conditioned beer, over force carbonated beer. If I was to have cornies I think i would want to cask condition use a beer engine and cask breather. Perhaps when I have the big mansion and with my own bar in it.
