Hello,
I'm considering buy a corny keg, however, space is a premium at the moment. Firstly, do you need a gas management board etc when using an S30 bottle (I presume that is what it means). Secondly, I can't really cool the keg much lower than 12c in the summer as it will be living in the garage.

Finally, how would I know how much gas to use?

Utterly lost and confused in the way of the corny keg.

tbh s30s arent really a goer with cornys, some people make do, as they use up a alot more gas- as need an inital kick of co2 to carb, unless are sneaky, and by the time u have all the valves and regulators etc a big gas bottle begins to look quite cheap...

if only want one keg and thats it, go for a pressure barrel, ive got two and wouldnt part with them even if i go corny as are great for cask ale and if u want lager just bottle it

This my be a stupid question but can you drop beer into a pressure barrel like a king keg when the beer is bright? I work away from home at the moment so I get precious little time with the other half that could be better spent not bottling beer.

How long does beer tend to last when in a pressure barrel?

James
