The realisation that the home brew kit you buy will probably never fully pay for itself
I've been meaning to switch to Cornelius kegs for some time and had already bought a second hand tall fridge quite a while back in readiness. Late last year I got the premium keg kit from BrewKegTap and kegerator phase one happened. Two kegs rigged up to two shiny stainless flow control Intertaps. Expansion was always at the back of my mind so left room for a third tap.
Just as all the Covid thing kicked off thought it would be good to have more beer on the go in the cornys so bought another three kegs again from BrewKegTap.
And now the decision has been made to go for phase 2 but I've decided I want individual pressure control on the kegs. Currently have a Weiss in there that needs much higher carbonation than most of the other stuff I do. So expansion kit ordered from BKT - another corny (6 now!) and Intertap plus other gubbins. In addition to that I have three secondary regulators on the way so will hopefully be making up my gas management board at the weekend.
Must stop there, no more shiny stuff for a while
