Corny keg flexi tap stuck on keg help?

Hi guys,

I have a corny keg and it has always been hard to connect and remove the flexi tap which connects onto the keg but this time it is really stuck any ideas how to get it off? i have tried pulling it of but have failed!? It is not the tap as it connects perfectly onto my other kegs.

I have one corny that's a bugger to remove the party tap from, the others are no problem. The only way I can get it off is to use a adjustable spanner. Lift the release and prise with the spanner, not the best solution, but it works for me

the o-ring on the connect may have swolen over time or may be oversize, replace it and/or use a bit of vaseline, don't know an easy solution for removal however

Ok have released the pressure and still cannot remover the tap!! HHHEEELLLPPPP!!!

err sounds like one of your ball bearings is stuck. Think you need to remove the post and have a bash around at it. if not then I have a 9" grinder you can borrow

Sounds like you've put it on the gas post . .. or your Corny has two gas posts . . . I've done this in the past, and found the only solution to be brute force

No it did draw beer out perfectly before i released the pressure. The keg was from norm so shall i email him to complain lol no to see if he has any tips advice?

I used a pair of pliers (?) to yank it off and it worked!! thanks for all the advice!!!!
