corny gas options

Sorry i know this has been covered but I was trying to work out the most cost effective method for gassing a corny. I am guessing that a co2 cylinder is the best option but can anyone tell me how much they can be picked up for? serviced and refilled?

I can get a pub size gas bottle for £10 deposit and £15 for refill, or a 7lb bottle for same deposit +£6 refill Chorley bottle gas, lancs - not sure where you are :)
