Were getting some cornies tomorrow whats the best way to clean them do you lubricate any parts etc and before you put beer in them do you prime like a barrel and how much co2 do you inject and when. :thumb:

You can prime if you want to and your keg is likely to be staying in one place. You still get a sediment, waste the first half pint pulled and then within another pint or two you should be drawing clear beer.

The beauty of the Corny system is that you can keg clear beer, force carbonate, and take your kegs to parties etc.

Do a forum search on force carbonating, I gas mine to 25psi and serve around 3psi.

Yes, when the needle points to 25 ;)

But seriously, where are you getting your kegs from, collecting or being delivered? Can you ask for a run through, or pick the brains of the vendor?

And before you ask how to stop pouring a glass of foam . . . have a read of my posts on the matter

British Ales 1.5-1.7
Lagers 2-2.5
Belgians 3.0
Wheat beers 3-3.5

Or round about that
