I think I am going to ask SWMBO to get me a cornie setup for xmas and build myself a kegrator.

Anyone got links for everything I need - minus the fridge and gas?

@Hoddy did previous message me a link but it disappeared when my phone broke.

Thanks

Either this for two new kegs and chrome taps for £200 https://brewkegtap.co.uk/collection...m-kegerator-kit-2-kegs?variant=12441841795153

Or get one of these https://www.themaltmiller.co.uk/product/complete-used-keg-setup/ and then just buy extra taps, kegs and then the actual kegerator taps when you are ready.

I actually did this

4 x https://brewkegtap.co.uk/collections/taps/products/intertap-chrome-faucet-complete
4 x https://www.themaltmiller.co.uk/product/premium-party-tap-line/
1 x https://www.themaltmiller.co.uk/product/40cm-door-mounted-drip-trays/
2 x http://www.thehomebrewcompany.co.uk...-corny-keg-19lt-ball-lock-grade-a-p-3669.html
1 x https://www.themaltmiller.co.uk/product/premium-co2-regulator/
1 x https://www.themaltmiller.co.uk/product/3-way-gas-manifold/
3 x https://www.themaltmiller.co.uk/product/38-natural-beergas-line/
No of kegs x https://brewkegtap.co.uk/collection.../premium-ball-lock-disconnect-beer-out-barbed

I think that was what i found to be the lowest cost but also the best way to build up my keg system. Anyone feel free to steal the shopping list. Just use the number of items to match the number of kegs you have.

Note : does not include a gas bottle.

Cheers pal, the top link is what you sent before but thought it was £250. That sounds like a good price but will price everything separate to see what it comes out at.

Great shopping list Hoddy...I see you got 6 cornies...do you always have 4 on tap?
Yup always have 4 on tap. Two clean and ready to fill or filled ready to go on tap when a keg is kicked. Plus I have an extra duff keg that is always full of star San for purging out clean sterilised kegs as I always do a pressure transfer with co2 so it’s A1 no oxygen beer.

That's a dandy looking thing Mr H...do you have "visitors" who try your wares...? I'm a bit unfavorable with "persistent samplers"..

Yeah i do have quite a few visitors. But i do like a beer or two myself.... hic.

I am alright with persistent samplers. If anything having taps is better as people can try different beers as they want rather than opening bottles and the like.

And lets be honest. There is something nice about pouring your beer yourself from a proper draft tap.

How long will a keg keep once cracked with the little caps on the taps?
I have a hoppy Kolsch that’s been on tap for 4+ months and it’s still A1.

my other hoppy beers will be on that long and they will be super duper forever. There is no o2 exposure so they keep for as long as you like. Hops will fade, but nothing like you should be concerned by. And to be honest I think my beers are so much better quality being co2 carbonated rather than bottle conditioned. And poured it’s just a better beer all round I think.

Then maybe source yourself an extra single keg. That way you can always have a beer ready to go on and/or have a keg to purge with. Another recon one is only £50.
That's the plan. Get this past her and then let the collection slowly grow, I guess I would also need something to fed the gas to more kegs.

To be fair you’ll have the feed for the two kegs with that kit. Then when you have a new one filled just borrow one connector and do the force carb 2 bar 3 min roll on it. By the time you come to drink from that keg it’ll be perfectly carbonated and ready to go. Tbh I don’t leave the gas on mine unless I’m drinking. Too risky to lose a whole 6kg bottle.

Another BrewKegTap recommendation, I went for the premium kit with flow control taps just because shiny! https://brewkegtap.co.uk/collections/featured-collection/products/premium-kegerator-kit-2-kegs

Got a drip tray from them too.

More or less put mine together at the weekend:

Eventually going to get some more Cornies from here: http://www.thehomebrewcompany.co.uk...-corny-keg-19lt-ball-lock-grade-a-p-3669.html

And also plan to add a third tap with this kit: https://brewkegtap.co.uk/collections/keg-kits/products/keg-expansion-kit?variant=12297587785809

Now have my first brew carbonating athumb..
