I made 23litre of this last night, added a tin of Coopers light malt extract and some dextrose I had spare (300-400g). Came down this morning and its going nuts.

I gave up trying to keep an airlock on and cobbled together a tube and a bottle but even at that the tube was just blocking.

I've loosed the lid and went in to check on it, I swear its trying to escape

Is that normal? I have a coopers euro lager kit in the garage at the moment and that's calmly bubbling away.

I can see this having to join the lager out to the garage if it does not calm down soon .

It could be quite normal, I've had no problem at all with Coopers kits, but the first few days they do look like they're a new life form on Doctor Who... Just try to ensure that you don't let anything contaminate it.
