I'm using this forum as a bit of a brew log, here is kit brew #4.

Brewed this today using 1KG medium DME from wilkos. I have two cans of this kit so was looking for something straightforward for the first run then I can add demerara sugar and a can of treacle to the second batch once I have a baseline to build from.

Brewed to 21.5 L

SG 1040.

Hoping it doesn't escape the FV like I've seen on some of these threads, looking forward to seeing how it tastes.

You could get yourself a vanilla pod and add it to the FV after about 7 days, I have done the same and it was lovely!

For my own records - bottled this yesterday @ 1008 FG using half a teaspoon of demerara sugar for each bottle.
