Afternoon Chaps,
I am planning to do this brew in the next couple of weeks. After pricing it all up and with p+p it works out to about £41.00.

Coopers Pale Ale
" Wheat Beer
500g Light Spray Malt
Danstar Belle Saison Yeast 11g
500g Light Spray Malt

I can't seem to get all the above in one place and the p+p involves two shops. Any views on this?

Well, I would say it sounds like a lot more effort and cost than seems worth it, but then, I'm a miserable git. I think it's the sort of thing I might do if I happened to have the stuff, wondered why I bought half of it in the first place and couldn't think what to do with 'em. Which is probably how these styles came to be brewed in the first place.

If you are going ahead with this brew it may be worth buying your product from the Coopers Store they offer free shipping over $50 Aus Dollars, from my understanding you will be required to pay the VAT on entry to the UK. The exchange rate when I checked was $1.00 (Aus Dollar) = £0.55 (GB Pound).

I like the sound of this Russian Imperial Stout it falls short of the $50 free postage ($47.25 or £25.99 ish + VAT = £31.19) but am sure you could add something to make it go over.

Just a thought and good luck.

Changed my mind. I brewed this using:
Wilkos Delicate Pilsner £10.00
1kg Beer Enhancer £3.75
500g Extra Light Spraymalt £4.20
11g Belle Saison yeast £3.50

Total £21.45
