Hi.

I recently brewed a batch of Aussi lager but used 1200g of Orange blossom honey instead of sugar. If you are considering replacing sugar with honey DON'T.
When you first taste it, it seems quite nice but the aftertaste is a horrible orangey citric taste which ruins the whole thing.
Maybe if I'd used ordinary honey it would have been OK but orange blossom was a mistake. Beware.

hows longs it been conditioned?
i mean you never know after 6 months in bottles it might be nicer

It's been about a month and a half...is it possible it might get better? I mean surely if that's how it tastes then it will more or less always be like that. I hope you're right because I've got about 20 litres of the stuff!

i'm an amateur but i have read many forums inside out and i say it certainly might be lovely in 6 months, keep hoping :)

Consider your options
1) Throw it away now
2) Wait and see,it may improve and become a nice drink

I'd wait and try one every month for 6-12 months, rather than scrap an entire brew, they often improve loads fror a bit of time.
