Coopers Irish Stout head retention

Hello

Can anyone help with how to increase the head retention time? Its currently lasting about 5 mins. First off main reason might be the stout has just passed its first week of 2nd stage fermentation in a pressurised beer barrel and the instructions say is should be 2 weeks or longer. I had a quick half pint to see how things were going.

just drink it quicker! I dont know what exactly will improve head retention, some of the coopers brew enhancer packs claim to aid head retention but who knows! i suppose giving it longer will help :

I intend doing this next what's it taste like ? some say similar to guiness ?

Mine turned out quite strong (5.6%). I used 1Kg mix of muntons spray malt & sugar mix bag. Its would be similar to the Guiness extra stout.
