My Coopers English ale is due for bottling today, Is it ok to Keg half and bottle half? If so what about carbonation? Or should I just bottle full batch?

Yes you can do half and half. Can you add gas to the keg though, it would need it?

For carbonation, just use half the sugar for each. You could rack the beer into a bucket with all the sugar, stir gently and leave for 30 mins, then rack half to the keg and then fill your bottles.

Thanks, I bottled 16 the rest in keg, added sugar to keg and carbonation drops to bottles. Should I gas straight away now that I added sugar?

Why do leave for 30 mins ? I have always added my beer to the sugar and bottled straight away. Should I be leaving it ? I have been batch priming this way for over a year, I give a little stir and then start the bottling process

Just a precaution, to help the sugar mix evenly, so that bottles are evenly primed.

When I've done this I've added all the priming sugar (dissolved in a little water) to the barrel, racked the beer into the barrel so it mixed with the sugar, and then attached my bottling wand the the barrel tap and filled a few bottles before sealing the barrel. All seemed to work fine.
