I know its gonna be low ABV (OG1040-FG1014) primed with 1tsp of sugar per litre and i only used 1kg of golden syrup in the fermenting bucket (3.4%ish) im assuming/ plenty of things stacked against me i know!!!.
Anyhooo it did a week in the bucket, racked it off for a couple of days and then bottled (based on various advice). its been in the bottles a week now at about avg 21c and its made the PET bottles nicely solid and its crystal clear and a beautiful amber colour with a little bit of sediment stuck to the bottom of the bottles.
It tasted like beer when i syphoned off into the bottles, and TBH im desperate to crack one off  (that sounds wrong on so many levels!!)
Will power will get me to week two without breaking, where is best from then on?
In the shed or still at 21c in doors?
Cheers.

I would definately do two full weeks in the warm - 21 degrees will be fine.

Definately then get them in the cold - i think between about 3 and 8 degrees is advantageous, this will help them clear up and also ensure that the CO2 in the bottles is absorped into the beer.

I would chuck one in the fridge while moving them to the shed though to use as a bit of a sampler

agreed, leave them another week indoors and then to somewhere cool, then leave them as long as you can bear it before drinking.

I would be interested to know how this turned out, as im thinking for trying this one out?

Please tell all!!

1.014 sounds a fair bit high for a draught, is that where it's meant to stop?

Sounds like it's gonna be good. Just be careful when opening in case it wasn't quite finished fermenting (as I would think is the case).

Next time I would recommend at least 14 days in the primary before bottling etc.

That does sound high, id think more like 1.008 or so so it might not have been finished
